Arsene Wenger hits out at Chelsea’s recruitment policy

ARSENE WENGER has taken a swipe at Chelsea’s transfer policy after Eddie Nketiah bagged a bace in the Carabao Cup last night.

The Blues released the youngster from SBOBET their ranks when in the academy.

But the Gunners spotted his potential and offered him scholarship after he impressed on a week-long trial.

And their faith paid dividends when he came off the bench on the 85th minute last night to bag a brace against Norwich, flipping the game on its head.

Wenger took time after the match to laud Nketiah’s performance while criticising Chelsea for letting him go as a teenager.

Nketiah scored his first goals for Arsenal against Norwich

"I don’t know why Chelsea decided to let him go,” Wenger said.

“You see that more and more these days. Young people going from one club to another.

"I felt I was happy for him and the team. We lacked ideas and clear-cut chances. I was impressed SBOBET by Norwich in defence.

"I know that he can score goals and that he has character. He is not afraid. He can give and go, and once a player has that in his game, they have a chance."

Arsenal beat Norwich 2-1 last night

Nketiah scored 24 goals in 28 games for the under-18 side in the 2015/16 season, and after later developing in the under-23s, he warranted a place on the first-team bench.

The 18-year-old made his debut as a late substitute against BATE Borisov in the Europa League last month.

And SBOBET his most recent performance must have given Wenger food for thought over a Premier League appearance, with a cameo possible when the Gunners host Swansea on Saturday (3pm).
